As a therapist in the South Bay, I am committed to helping people achieve greater mental health and emotional well-being. While my primary means of doing this is by providing individual adult therapy, couples therapy, and therapy for teens and adolescents, I consider group therapy and wellness workshops very helpful in fostering mental health.
In an effort to provide you with these resources, I have created this page to keep you updated about upcoming events offered by my colleagues and I that focus on emotional and physical wellness. Another valuable resource is the S.E.L.F. Series which I launched with my colleague, Dr. Vanessa Isetta. This series includes half-day and full-day retreats and workshops that focus on the emotional, psychological, and physical well-being of the self. Workshops include lectures presented by specialists in the field, experiential group activities, mindfulness, and restorative movement/yoga. Seek – Embrace – Love – Flourish
We are excited to announce the date of our second S.E.L.F. series workshop on May 14th from 1pm – 4pm. We had such a great turn out for our first SELF series event and hope to create the same experience for our second one. In order to dive a little deeper into each area of the self, we will be creating a separate workshop for each topic. The next workshop will be all about The Awakened Self – Mindfulness, Meditation and MORE Restorative Yoga. The great thing about this series is you can attend any of the workshops at any time and still get the full benefit!
The event will be taking place at Harmony Yoga in Redondo Beach. We are very lucky to have use of this space, which is one of the oldest yoga studios in the South Bay and has become a community hub for the practice of yoga and mindfulness.

I am excited to announce the launch of the S.E.L.F Series. My colleague, Dr. Vanessa Isetta, and I developed the S.E.L.F series (which stands for Seek, Embrace, Love, and Flourish) based on our belief that the self thrives best when it is nourished emotionally, psychologically, and physically. We also wanted to incorporate the importance of community and connection, since this is another essential component of self-care. Through lectures presented by specialists in the field, experiential group activities, and restorative movement, this is exactly what our half-day and full-day retreats and workshops will provide attendees.
We are very excited to host our first S.E.L.F. series event on Saturday, February 27th from 1-5pm at Harmony Yoga. This transformative experience is for women of all ages to come together for a day of reflection and exploration focusing on the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of the SELF. We will focus on the following topics:
